We drove our RV down to Ft. DeSoto Park which is in Pinellas County Florida. The city name is Tierra Verde and is located south of the St.Petersburg/Clearwater area. The park was nice but unfortunately we were there when the mosquito's wanted to feast on us and our dogs. You had to drive a mile or so from the campground to get access to the beach. I walked down the pier that was close to the dog beach area. This seagull did not mind getting as close to you as possible. Obviously humans have been feeding these birds on a regular basis. He got up on the post and posed and let me know that he was ready to have his portrait taken. I was there at a high sun time a day and the original picture came out better than expected. I loaded it into Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2 and did some exposure, clarity, vibrance and sharpening adjustments. I then cropped it to make it look like more of a portrait shot.
